Killer sadness

Originally published in Triond on May 2008

Nothing can make me cry
Nothing can kill me
The way your sadness does.
I can brave the bitter world outside
I can live the life as it comes
I know I can
You know I can.
So why are you sad?
What makes you lost?
Why do you ruin the moment?
By reasoning about things I wish to forget?

I forgot

Originally published on Triond in May 2008

I forgot
I forgot to ring you
You had been waiting
Waiting lonely and distressed
Waiting could be killing
It’s more killing to know, I have made you wait!
I pretended
I pretended that I forgot
I missed death by seconds
I might not have lived
Lived to ring you
To say that I am sorry, I have made you wait!

You came to me

Originally published in Triond on May 2009

Being in love is an endless story which is better when remains unexplored….

You came to me
Like a storm
Like a torrential rain
Changing my dusk to dawn
You came to me
Like a freshness
Like an angel
Changing the alphabets of my life
Stirring my internal organs to a strange sensation
You came to me like an endless story.

What is love

Originally published in Triond on May 2009

Love should be transparent and immaculate or else it’s not love at all.
You wish to go to a river side
Work doesn’t amuse you anymore
Filthy politics took the place of credibility
You had always wished to go to a river
It need not be blue, picturesque
A river – immaculate and transparent
The water fuller and not much rippled
The lucidity in which we can see each other
We can look into each other’s eyes
And understand what we want.
Yes didn’t we always want that?
A transparent love!

My love kills me

Originally published on Triond on May 2008

Your words kill me to death. Why do you doubt my love?

You told me that I was being smart!
What made you think that?
How can you question my integrity?
My righteousness, my love?
Don’t you know how much I love you?
Don’t you know how much I care?
I am mere cadaver without you.
Your words are like sword
That aims at my soul direct
Cuts it to pieces
Sometimes it shreds my heart
I fail to revive.
I fail to live.
But I never fail to love.

I am growing old

Originally published on February 2008

My eyes are growing old
With the bleaks I suppose not to see and less of shines I must
I wonder if you will like me with old eyes.

My ears are growing old
With spurt of falsities and less of solicitous symphony I must
I wonder if you will like me with old ears.

My lips are growing old
With the fake guilt smiles and less of squashy love I must
I wonder if you will like me with old lips.

My nose is growing old
With plastic breeze and less of essential fragrance I must
I wonder if you will like me with an old nose.

My heart is growing old
With sopping up blots, blues, blames, growing big and supple
I know you will love me with an old heart.
