Awakening

 A letting go haiku

Seven days later,
I woke up to sky, sea and
a never seen sun

Virgin rain

Monday rain haiku

Dark grey sky smothered
The cotton blues, the rain bursts
Fondling virgin leaves

Heaven Sent

Calmness haiku

Living quiet evenings
Sipping in the ice calmness
You are heaven sent

Daily salsa

Daily salsa

Danced onto the wheels
Doing wobbly salsa moves
Sparkled like a queen

Wrath

Saturday 25th haiku

The deadly shudders
Tears, despair, loss of hope
Rains pelt weeping face

Tuesday rain haiku

Tiny drop trickles
Slurs down my earthy brown cheek
Tickles me, I laugh

Love me without rhetoric

Love me without rhetoric

Don’t say that I am different,
Don’t say that I am special,
Don’t say that the wind will not whisper without me
Don’t say that I make you feel like all that cliches
And then leave me

Don’t surprise me when I am dead asleep dreaming
Don’t surprise me with cats-bring-home kind of mess
Don’t surprise me with all the flowers the florist around the block has
Don’t surprise me on the darkest of days with cakes and say it is my birthday
And then leave me

Surprises do not amuse me any more
They twirl me with fearful premonition
Love my normal self, make me feel like an ordinary person
Love me because you really love me and you really do
Love me without rhetoric

Spell checker

A 21 Jan Haiku

A day full of darn doodles
Decided to dodge
Until you did the spell check

Scheme

Sunday haiku

Two bodies far flung
Thousands of miles conspiring
To split their lone soul

Death of Dreams

Dreams Must Not Always Come True. Beauty Lies in Moving on with Smiles.

The star falls, sky smiles
Hails new stars even at death
Dreams die, we cry on

Because of you

'It is a Sweet Thing, Friendship, a Dear Balm, a Happy and Auspicious Bird of Calm.'

The dawn ushers love
Balming the dark blood, black hurts
My dusk has just dawned
